The Bangladesh Maritime University have signed Memorandum of Understanding with The World Maritime University, Malmo, Sweden. The Vice Chancellor of BMU Rear Admiral Ashraful Hoq Chowdhury, NBP, OSP, BCGM, ndu, afwc, psc, signed on the MoU of BMU part on 29 September 2024 and The President of WMU Professor Maximo Q. Mejia Jr. signed the MoU on 28 October 2024. The purpose of this MoU is to set forth the terms by which BMU and WMU will engage in the field of maritime and marine affairs to expand educational opportunities for students. It also includes the academic exchange and academic information exchange, BMU faculty participation in WMU programs, faculty exchange, development of joint scientific and/or technological research projects and publications and professional development courses and also other provisions too.
